about

"Earth Universal" is a music duo emitting various organic and electronic signals from the ground to the sky to represent the diversity of life forms here. The music of the "Universal Land" combines electro-acoustic improvisation, the spaces of mixed field recordings with emerging spontaneous rhythms in a not necessarily European metre. The duo is formed by Jeff Gburek and Hubert Wińczyk, who have been friends and collaborators for many years, but have only recently chosen the band's name. At the end of 2016, they created music for the RE_WOLTA theatrical play on sexual violence against women.
